GOD'S VIEW

God is looking for a return on His investment. 

God sees money as an asset, tool, and as a resource necessary to carry out His will and to position His people for prosperity, purpose, and power. 

Some of us have been raised in the Church thinking to ourselves that money is evil and that wealth is wicked however Moses writes in Deuteronomy 8:18, "And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth..."

Money is not evil, the love of money is. (1 Tim 6:10)

Mammon is not the spirit of money, it's the spirit of greed. That's why you can't serve God and mammon at the same time. God is the spirit of giving while mammon is the spirit of greed. God is completely selfless while greed is completely selfish.
